Climate change, both globally and in Ukraine, is a matter of deep concern for the team at PARUS Printing House LLC. Recognizing our responsibility, we are committed to a consistent and forward-looking strategy aimed at reducing carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions into the atmosphere. As part of this approach, we are implementing targeted programs to enhance energy efficiency across our operations. Our experience shows that efficient energy use not only reduces operational costs but also significantly contributes to lowering CO₂ emissions and minimizing our environmental impact.
In 2018, PARUS Printing House LLC invested UAH 1,200,000 in the installation of its first warm air heat recovery system. This system allows heat generated by the equipment in the production facility to be recirculated, resulting in a more than 30% reduction in CO₂ emissions and a 15% decrease in wood pellet consumption. According to our development plan, a second heat recovery system is scheduled for installation by the end of 2021, with a dedicated budget of UAH 1,490,000. This system will capture heat from all equipment across the production floor, ensuring more comfortable working conditions for employees and significantly further reducing CO₂ emissions and wood pellet usage.
PARUS Printing House LLC operates its own specialized laboratory, which enables the company to monitor greenhouse gas emissions and ensure environmental safety.
